In Process: Dining Room Revamp

Before
In Process

Two things I have learned at this point with stencilling. You have to really love the stencil and paint you choose and then time and patience. I'm super excited that this qauderfoil stencil is coming along. This dining room area has been such a pass this through and not a lot to make anyone pause. But since the kitchen is open an adjecent and this is the first thing you see when you enter from the side door I wanted a nice wow factor. The overall design idea is to replace the rectangular table with a circular one and the around the corner there is a wall about 36" inches that would be great for a buffet concept. I have the perfect dresser that fits and the extra storage would be perfect. Along one of the corners walls I found an oval gold mirror I've repainted yellow and the adjecent wall I've got some ideas for some bright color art work framed out in white frames.

Here's a few very loose concepts of ideas.

 Table debate...either dark or light?

White and white against dark grey walls?
