Our basement rooms have kind of been on the back burner due to the lack of purpose of the family room. We've only had the computer/office area and the media stuff has been upstairs due to our huge entertainment center that would only fit downstairs if we took it apart. My husband was unwilling to take the beast apart till now and he's finally interested in making it more enjoyable in appearance. Luckily we have new carpet in and it just needs some nice TLC. One of these days I'll talk him into painting the panelling. He likes the rustic feel, I'm completely not okay with it. But hey I've gotten to choose everything paint and color upstairs so we've had to compromise a bit.

Love the bold red. Think this would be great to paint the bathroom door (presently its a drab hollow core door). Make it conversation piece and add a quirky element to the space.

Our bathroom is tiny like this. But I like the back and white contrast with the gray.
